Mission
The Hidden Valley Lake Milers is a running club serving the Lake County Region.
Located in Hidden Valley Lake, CA (4 miles North of Middletown) the HVL Milers
offer a social running club, running clinics for beginners, and information on upcoming
race events.  Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned veteran, we have something
to offer everyone.
Attention Walkers!
The Hidden Valley Milers is kicking off the long awaited walking group, which will have two
separate focuses.

The Strollers:  This group is for walkers that want to exercise at a comfortable pace and is
great for active beginners.   

The Power Walkers:  This group wants to get their heart rate up and keep it up!

Distance for both groups will be approximately 2 miles to start and may increase as
the group decides.  Meeting Place at HVL Hardester’s shopping center until further
notice Saturdays at 9 AM .  The Kick-off date is Saturday November 24.  The walking
group will meet RAIN OR SHINE!

•    Spring Has Sprung 2008- Saturday, May 17th  2008  
•    Beautiful Hidden Valley Lake (4 miles north of Middletown, Ca.) off of Hwy 29.
Must take Spruce Grove exit and turn right at Deer Hill Rd. checking into security
gate for instructions.                                  
•    New Venue, New Distances! Races are now around the Lake!
•    Event tee-shirt included with entry
•    Start and finish “Big Beach”
•    Kids 1k (0.6 mile) Challenge and Relays (Kids event starts at 8:30AM and there is
no race day registration) Parents can do their own event!
•    Challenging 5k Run (3.1 mile) with varied terrain and gorgeous lake views- Special
Prizes to overall winners Male/Female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and Custom Medals
3-deep each age division.
•    2.1 Mile run/walk:   Award Ribbons to winners in each age division.
•    Race Day Registration for 2.1 mile and 5k event: 8AM to 8:45AM with 9AM event
start.  Carpool if possible, limited parking.

Kids 1K Challenge (0.6 mile) 8:30 AM sharp: For kids 5 to 10 years old   who are not
ready for the longer distances; Get them involved in their own “race”! After the kids
cross the finish line, check them into the “Wild Flower Corral” for a cool-down drink
and relay races etc. while you do one of the longer event. Note: limited space (must
pre-register) and parent/guardian must be registered for another Spring Has Sprung
event. $10.00 fee includes tee-shirt, snacks, and lots of fun.  
"Runners, joggers, and walkers of all speeds (and donut preferences) are welcome!"
